PAY RANGE: $21.40 - $23.54 EEOC CODE: Professional FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt
SHIFT: Fulltime; Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BA/BS in Business Administration, Health, Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Extensive experience may be substituted for college equivalence.
JOB PURPOSE: This position provides data analysis support for CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) programs and state and federally funded quality improvement programs throughout the organization. These programs require an in-depth understanding of program structure, strategies, and specific goals as well as quality improvement measures and quality measure steward specifications.
This position is responsible for data collection, performance assessments, methodology, data entry, data analysis, documentation, and timely reporting of measure data, as well as identifying barriers and implementing corrections using the PDSA (plan, do, study, act) method for deficiencies and improvements.
This position may also provide support to other projects such as state funded Community Mental Health block grants.
This position works to process confidential data and information according to various project guidelines and communicates with other departments and staff members to ensure all relevant data is appropriately collected. This position must successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach and thorough collaboration with others both internally and externally. This requires an individual who possesses the ability to be a resourceful specialist working up, down, and across all
levels of the organization. This position acts as the Program Evaluator for the SAMHSA IA grant and works closely with the IA Project Director and Director of Quality & Compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and DUTIES:
- Provides general support to CCBHC-IA Project Director and Director of Quality & Compliance.
- Responsible for implementation, tracking and evaluation of health data designed to drive improvements in health outcomes.
- Responsible for evaluating data that informs treatment, strategies, and interventions.
- Provides timely collection and concise reporting of Tx DPP for BHS, state funded Community Mental Health block grants, SAMHSA CCBHC, and Texas CCBHC projects.
- Provides internal reporting for IQC (Integrity, Quality & Compliance), CCBHC Core Team, and CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) projects.
- Provides technical assistance on data collection, generation of reports, and analysis of data for projects.
- Conducts internal audits to support the organization's continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Gains and maintains knowledge base related to National Quality Forum (NQF) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) measures and regulations for our organization.
- Must understand logistics behind the Center's EHR system and will collaborate closely with the Center's Information Services personnel.
- Skilled in the use of personal and network computers, word processing, database, spreadsheet, and office management software (Microsoft Office).
- Displays proficiency in Excel spreadsheets, VIN diagrams, and preparing data for analysis.
- Handles PHI and other sensitive information in a confidential manner. *
- Assist and perform special projects as requested.

General Competencies:
- Ability to operate a computer and office equipment and experience to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel (intermediate level), and Web-Conferencing. Ability to type 40 wpm.
- Must have good organizational skills to achieve multiple deadlines.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR CONDITIONS:
- Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that state. Liability insurance required.
- Must be insurable by Center's liability carrier if employee operates a Center vehicle or drives personal car on Center business.
- Good driving record as defined by Gulf Bend Center.
- Must complete all CORE training requirements prior to the due date. Attend required training and consortia meetings. Relias training and any other training required for the role is 100% compliant.

- Must maintain regular and reliable attendance, including compliance with the telework agreement, which is critical to business operations. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm or agreed upon hours 100% of the time, to ensure consistency and completeness of the program's processes. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
