POSITION TITLE: Program Manager-Intake

WORKSITE LOCATION: Gulf Bend Regional Plaza 6502 Nursery Dr. Ste. 100 Victoria, TX 77904

STARTING PAY: $22.90/hr EEOC CODE: Professional FLSA STATUS: Exempt

SHIFT: : Fulltime; Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral, or human services or is a registered nurse. (Social, behavioral, and human services are: psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human development). A minimum of at least three years' clinically appropriate experience in the treatment of individuals with mental illness and chemical dependency.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
1. Monitors and evaluates the service delivery system to ensure compliance in accordance to CCBHC requirements, HHSC contract, Medicaid Rule, and Center policy for assigned program.
2. Provides initial/ongoing training, support, and guidance to team members as needed.
3. Facilitates team meetings for program.
4. Oversees proper maintenance of documentation of services for Intake in accordance with Medicaid Rule and Center policy.
5. Assists with program planning and development.
6. Responsible for evaluating and planning program schedule for team members to meet the needs of GBC customers and all necessary requirements.
7. Oversees completion of initial screening and diagnostic assessments within HHSC/TAC/CCBHC timeframe.
8. Reviews and approves timesheets, leave requests, and expense report per Center policy.
9. Participates in the budget process.
10. May participate in Utilization Review process.
11. Performance Appraisals for direct reports are 100% compliant (annual)
12. Relias trainings and any other training required for role is 100% compliant.
13. Employee supervisions (monthly and/or quarterly) are 100% compliant.
14. Approval of timesheets is 90% compliant.
15. Employee corrective actions are completed in a timely manner once the corrective action is identified.
16. Participates in the interview/hiring process and termination process of department employees.
17. Must maintain regular and reliable attendance.
18. Complies with telework/remote agreement if applicable.
19. Uses the trauma informed care approach when providing services and working with others.
- Understands the Three E's of trauma-informed care.
- Understands the Four R's of trauma-informed care.
- Understands the six key principles of trauma-informed care.
20. May perform other duties as assigned by Director

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:  A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral, or human services or is a registered nurse. (Social, behavioral, and human services are: psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human development). A minimum of at least three years' clinically appropriate experience in the treatment of individuals with mental illness and chemical dependency.

Preferred: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Services, or related field. Professional license that qualifies as an LPHA: minimum LPC or LCSW by the state of Texas. At least 2 years' experience managing personnel and/or program oversight of mental health care services.

DEGREE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

  1. BA/BS in field specified above or licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.

  1. Current State of Texas Driver License or if you live in another state, must be currently licensed in that State.
  2. Good driving record as defined by Gulf Bend Center.
  3. Must be insurable by Center's liability carrier if employee operates a Center vehicle or drives personal car on Center business.
  4. Must complete all CORE training requirements prior to the due date.
  5. Preferred ability to type 40 WPM.
