POSITION TITLE: Program Manager-Intake
PAY GRADE: 18 EEOC CODE: Professional FLSA STATUS: Exempt
SHIFT: Fulltime or Part-time (30 hours); Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral, or human services or is a registered nurse. (Social, behavioral, and human services are psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human development.) A minimum of at least three years' clinically appropriate experience in the treatment of individuals with mental illness and chemical dependency. Preferred: Master's degree in psychology, Social Services, or related field. Professional license that qualifies as an LPHA: minimum LPC or LCSW by the state of Texas. At least 2 years' experience managing personnel and/or program oversight of mental health care services.
JOB PURPOSE: Acts as the Manager for the Intake program. Oversee daily operations of the program and provide direct supervision, support, guidance and training to the staff assigned to the program. Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with our contract and center policies. Must have knowledge of DSM disorders. Will represent Gulf Bend Center in a positive, mature, and professional manner. Will work as a team member of the Intake Department and assist the team as needed. May perform screenings for customers that are applying for Gulf Bend Center. Meets multiple deadlines and reporting requirements as defined by state contracts; may perform other work duties as assigned by the Program Director. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services with considerable latitude for the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.
