POSITION TITLE: Program Manager—Intake

SHIFT: Fulltime or Part-time (30 hours); Monday thru Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral, or human services or is a registered nurse. (Social, behavioral, and human services are psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human development.) A minimum of at least three years’ clinically appropriate experience in the treatment of individuals with mental illness and chemical dependency. Preferred: Master’s degree in psychology, Social Services, or related field. Professional license that qualifies as an LPHA: minimum LPC or LCSW by the state of Texas. At least 2 years’ experience managing personnel and/or program oversight of mental health care services.
JOB PURPOSE: Acts as the Manager for the Intake program. Oversee daily operations of the program and provide direct supervision, support, guidance and training to the staff assigned to the program. Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with our contract and center policies. Must have knowledge of DSM disorders. Will represent Gulf Bend Center in a positive, mature, and professional manner. Will work as a team member of the Intake Department and assist the team as needed. May perform screenings for customers that are applying for Gulf Bend Center. Meets multiple deadlines and reporting requirements as defined by state contracts; may perform other work duties as assigned by the Program Director. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services with considerable latitude for the exercise of discretion and independent judgment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in social, behavioral or human services or a minor in social, behavioral or human services or is a registered nurse. (Social, behavioral, and human services are psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human development; physician’s assistant; gerontology; education psychology; special education; early childhood intervention; or early childhood education.) Services will be provided in the community and/or clinic. SHIFT: Fulltime; Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm, with rotating on-call shifts that cover evenings, nights, and weekends
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and minimum number of hours equivalent to a major in social, behavioral or human services or is a registered nurse or is an LPHA. (Social, behavioral, and human services: psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human growth and development; physician assistant; gerontology; special education; educational psychology; early childhood intervention; or early childhood education.) Knowledge of DSM V mental disorders. Preferred: At least six months’ experience in providing mental health services to adults, children, and adolescents.
JOB PURPOSE: This position will provide crisis intervention services to reduce symptoms of severe and persistent mental illness or serious emotional disturbance and to prevent admission of an individual to a more restrictive environment. Will work in cooperation with family members and community organizations including, but not limited to law enforcement, hospital staff, and other community providers. On-call crisis response duties are included in this role as part of a scheduled rotation. Requires travel within in Gulf Bend Center’s (7) county catchment area.

JOB PURPOSE: Provides services to children/adolescents with identified needs as part of early intervention support toward developing the whole child. Also provides case management, skills training, and medication training to children/adolescents with a serious emotional disturbance. Provides services to the primary caregiver or LAR. Services will be provided in the school setting and/or community to increase accessibility and engagement to necessary services in rural communities. Is based on a school campus and integrated with school personnel. Collaborates and partners with School Counselor. Social Emotional Behavior Support Specialist (SEBS), and Administrators at the school.
