EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

JOB PURPOSE:

The Maintenance Team Lead ensures facility, equipment, and fleet functionality through routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, aiming to minimize downtime and maintain safety/operational standards. The Team Lead is responsible for the direct supervisions, coaching, critical feedback and support to Maintenance Technician(s).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Required: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum number of hours that is equivalent to a major in psychology; social work; medicine; nursing; rehabilitation; counseling; sociology; human growth and development; physician assistant, gerontology; special education; educational psychology; early childhood education; or early childhood intervention or is a registered nurse.

Preferred: At least six months’ experience in providing mental health services to adults, children and adolescents.

JOB PURPOSE:

Provides continuity of care services for individuals involved in the criminal justice system within the Center’s service area to ensure that mental health needs continue to be met upon return to the community. Services will be provided in the community, clinic, and/or jail setting and requires travel within Gulf Bend Center’s 7-county area.

Required: TAC RULE §303.501 Qualifications of a Habilitation Coordinator must include the following:

1. Be an employee of a LIDDA;
2. Have a bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a social, behavioral, or human service field, such as psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, gerontology, educational psychology, education, or criminal justice; and
3. Have at least one year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.

JOB PURPOSE:

Ensures that any individual seeking admission into a Medicaid–certified nursing facility or currently residing in such a facility is screened and evaluated for mental illness, intellectual disability, and developmental disabilities; identifies alternate placement options when necessary or requested; identifies specialized services that may benefit the individual; and meets routinely with individual at the nursing facility to monitor the specialized services.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The BHPP Liaison must qualify as a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) as defined in TAC 26.1.307.F and Texas Education Code section 8.152 and 8.155. This consists of a person licensed as one of the following and acting within the authorized scope of the person’s license:

• Licensed professional counselor;
• Licensed professional counselor associate;
• Licensed clinical social worker;
• Licensed master social worker;
• Licensed marriage and family therapist;
• Psychologist;
• Advanced practice registered nurse; or
• Physician assistant.

DEGREE AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

Required: Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master’s degree or higher. Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check

License Required:

JOB PURPOSE

A Behavioral Health Partnership Program Liaison (BHPPL) serves as a mental health and substance use resource for school districts located within Region 3 Education Service Center (“ESC”). The BHPPL will serve as a resource regarding child/adolescent mental health and substance use for school and education service center (ESC) personnel by:

• Increasing ESC and school personnel’s awareness and understanding of mental health and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
• Assisting school personnel in the implementation of initiatives related to mental health or substance use disorders
• Ensuring personnel are aware of:
  • Best practice-based programs and research-based practices
• Other public and private mental health and substance use programs
• Facilitating Mental Health First Aid trainings
• Facilitating trainings regarding:
  • The impact of grief and trauma
• Special considerations in supporting children with intellectual or developmental disabilities who are impacted by grief or trauma
• Prevention and intervention programs proven effective in helping students cope with pressures to:
  • Use alcohol, cigarettes, or illicit drugs; or
• Misuse prescription drugs
